I Owe You an Apology

Apologies are fragile interactions. Those written out public speeches after a media backlash shouldn’t be the model. Looking good in sports coats while we dance around the issue and cling to our stubborn cycles is kind of childish, isn’t it?

During those fragile moments, when we really are sorry, trying desperately to mend our regrets… we need to say that we are sorry, because something is broken, because feelings got hurt, because communication broke down. We need to say those things. Those words can save friendships.
