Salt water

I’ve been drinking salt water lately, just a drop or two at a time. Not because I’m thirsty, but because it’s dripping from my eyes.

I tried to turn it off for a while,
attempted to block the path with tissues, nostalgia, bitterness, and disappearing acts. When that stuff didn’t work, I hung upside down from a jungle gym for a couple years. My head got so fricken big, like a plumb must feel to an army ant. I forgot about the salt water drops for a while.

But… realizing that my head had gotten so big from my world being upside down made the whole thing explode, my world and my head.

So, I’m back to drinking salt water again. I just can’t keep it from dripping from my eyes.
