Unwavering Youth

Challenge your virtues at times when life is easy to walk through.

Keep pushing when life is on your back, weighing on your stride and pulling you down
so that it appears as if it will never let you up again.

Stand and keep on walking when the strength is gone from you, when it seems easy just to sleep.

Make every inch of the muscle in your brain move waves that crash with the emotions you feed on any given day.

Cry like you’ve lost everything you believe to be living for. Wipe your eyes when the sadness settles. Let that moment remind you that everything will be okay.

Ignore the hurtful things you tell yourself when no one wants to listen, the fear inside your heart.

Know that you are not alone, that your friends care more about you than they do about themselves. Let them help you.

Do these things for me, they represent the inner fortitude you’ll need to shape this world, mold it into your own.

And with the last of my words. I trust the Earth and all of it’s inhabitants to you, the unwavering youth of today.

“Keep pushing when life is on your back…” and “Cry like you’ve lost everything…” These were my favorite words, so inspiring.
