So Far Away

Did you ever run so far away
that no one came to look for you?
Every single day I lose myself.
I’m praying now for you to save me.
Take me to the home I’ve lost,
make me feel all grown up,
and grounded in the company,
of my family and my friends.
I know it’s not you’re doing though.
I will have to turn around,
and face the things that made me run,
so very far away from here,
that no one came to look for me.
