I do not want to take credit for this story. Outside the Lines did a good enough job of it. I wanted to share it though, along with my two cents.
To whoever sent that message, ghettoness is not a word. Try writing it on a piece of paper and standing in front of a mirror… the word in the reflection reads: ignorance.
The important thing to note in this situation is that Lebron James is a game changer. He is a young black man who calls shots. When he wants 30 minutes of ESPN’s prime time, he gets it… which is probably the kind of stuff that scares three piece suits, and many of the middle-aged white men who wear them. Their bad jokes and nice clothes don’t often get to host a television show, let alone donate all the commercial ad money to charity.
Lebron made a good a choice. In Miami he can decide to stick with t-shirts if he wants.
